Tuesday started as a hot one and ended in high winds and cooling temps. Fishing was good up until the storms chased us off the lake. League members continue to have good success with bluegills up shallow and small mouth bass. Walleye are also very active suspened in the water column. Trolling jointed shads and Frenzys have been working for me. Long line to get them down and let the fish tell you what speed to run. 1.8-2.2 seems to be a good starting point. Low light hours are best but fish can be caught all hours of the day right now. A few bonus muskys can be taken on the long lines as well.
