Some opening weekend success

    I brought my wife fishing with me Sunday, and found out why I don’t take her very often. She makes me look silly! She sits there and reads a book and still catches more fish than I do! We ended up keeping 5 walleyes in the 13″ range and 5 crappies between 12-14 1/2″. Released a few smaller eyes and 2 slot fish. Also a 27″ pike (on an ultra lite rod)
    Water should warm significantly in the next week, I like the way it is starting out.

    Nice pics FatGuy. I was busy with the Governor’s people Saturday morning, but after that I decided to try for bass and walleye. Didn’t do very well. I should have stuck with my crappie fishing. At least I narrowed down where the fish aren’t.
