C’mon Crappies!

    I took the kids out tonight looking for some Monster Crappies. We managed two around 12″ and a couple of pesky walleyes. Water is still kind of cold, I had it ranging in between 47 and 49 degrees. Shouldn’t be long on those craps. I would be guessing they will be hitting pretty consistantly by opening weekend.

    I was out on Menomin and found the same thing. Water temp was 41 here I caught one and had a second one on I lost at the boat. They are on their way

    If it makes you feel better, I had the same “luck”.

    I was measuring water temp from 51 – 54.

    The fish I caught were in 8+ feet.

    Glad to see some guys are getting out. Hope to get my maiden voyage kicked off on Wissota thurs or fri. Thanks for the update.

    Anyone know if the dock is in at anson(sp) park in Jim falls? It should be in by the opener if not already, right?
