    I hear you. Havent even started my auger yet this winter. Been out on the ice a couple of times with the neighbor. Im ready to get the boat back out.

    Those are some toads! I found myself day dreaming about open water the other day, then I thought about the ice again and got really excited! Have you had any success targeting them through the ice or are they too allusive in the winter?

    we been having an awesome ice season for gills, just tired of drilling through 3 plus feet of what feels like concrete and sub zero temps haha. i day dream everyday of cutting grass hehe. thanks

    Had the boat out twice in the past few weeks,there just hasnt been a consistent string of nice enough weather yet to keep me at it.Hopefully there is soon,ice hole watching is getting old.

    Isn’t there an open water forum for fair weather fisher persons? Move south and leave more room on the ice for us diehards. grin

    Plenty of room on the ice for the diehards.I hit the ice Nov 15 and have not ice fished for 15 maybe 20 days since then.Toss in a couple days in the boat and I’d say thats fairly diehard grin
