A gentleman from Milwaukee caught and kept a 17.25 inch tiger in Vernon County near the end of the 2016 season.

It is officially on the books now. Is on the current front page of the Crawford County Independent Newspaper.

The ironic part of the story is the same fish was caught and released in January of 2016. I guess loose lips do sink ships. My sources tell me the guy went after it on a tip from a local that told way too many people about it.

I have caught 18 tigers and never kept a one…if I catch one bigger than 17.25 inches I will keep it.

Enjoyed the read but if Wi hasn’t stocked them since the 70’s how are they still around ? Guess I’ll have to re read the article, sounds like they’re a fun fish to fight
