Fished last thursday thru saturday on Lake Wisconsin. We limited out each day and cpr’d several more including 3 that went over 20″. All the legal fish we caught were saugers.
Best presentation was a 1/4 oz jig with a large fathead minnow. We also caught fish on blade baits but the jigs were more consistent.
Fished mostly on the top and edge of the dropoffs in 18-22′ of water.
The wind made things difficult at times and boat control was very important. A very slow 4-6″ lift-drop was working the best.
Surface water temp. was 41 degrees.
Here’s a picture of a limit that my wife Nancy and I caught last Friday. These saugers ran from 15″ to 19.5″ long.

    Hi Jarrad,
It can be a tough bite with the nasty winds we have been having and she doesn’t like to go out in the really bad stuff. All in all, she still try’s real hard and is doing her best to keep up.
Wish I could get down there more often to try my hand at a few of those large girls swimming in the big river.
Looks like you guys are having a ball this fall.
