I will be fishing below the pete dam on sunday and curious as to how the bite has been? How far down river is it open? If anybody has been down there just let me know!

No idea on that, I would guess it will be open a ways down. Let us know how you will do this weekend.

    targa:

Just got off the fishinginfo.com website for Wisconsin. They have threads for both the Castle Rock area and Petenwell area. Dan’s Dam Landing just opened yesterday and says that guys are getting fish (split shot and colored hooks). Dan’s phone number is 608-339-2967.

He also told me that at the Petenwell Landing, a bait shop by the Pete dam, that his phone number is 608-565-7212. I didn’t take the time to call him, but you gotta think that he is there and open also along with the wayside landing.

Dodge Boy’s parents live on the west side of the Castle Rock and he is down there this weekend. He had to drive over the 21 bridge to get home, but I haven’t talked to him and probably won’t until tomorrow.

There are also threads on Lake-link.com if you want to take the time to check them. Hope that helps!!!

CAstle Rock…Wayside Landing is open..might be a few ice chnuks in the way though. River is open all the way to train trestle. Water is low, sandbars are prevelant. Hwy G landing below fish Lake is not open..too much ice on teh planks unless somebody gets a plow down there. 29th st landing is iced in yet. river isn’t open much below the trestle. Info as of Sunday the 11th.
