The bass fishing is going strong on the lake right now. I was out the last few days and had good catches of Large and Small mouth bass. I am catching them on a variety on plastics and Brovarney Swim jigs. The best bait though is a pink and purple J-Plug fished in 40 foot of water 
Just kidding. They are hanging in the normal summer places though and willing ot bite if you can locate them. Careful on the river though, lots of people finding sand and pushing, even in the upper channel.
