Took my boat out for the first time today with my dad. We ended up panfishing for the first few hours of the day and caught some nice slab crappies. He also lost a few nice gills as well. The panfish shut down by 11 so I dropped him off at the house. I went back out and caught some really nice bass. THe water temp is about 52 right now and rising. The bite should be really good in the next few days if the bottom doesn’t fall out of the temps. I will be posting a complete report here soon about the day, with pics. Take care and enjoy the weather.

Having some computer problems, I will try to get the new report up ASAP. I get out again sat and did wel again on the bass. I also saw a kid catch about a 15″ crappie, he was excited, so was I. They are really starting to move into the shallows to feed on the abundent baitfish in these areas. Now is the time people to get out and wack some good panfish. We were finding nice gills in the same area. I will get that full report to you soon, tight lines all.
