    JWB,
    fished Lake Wisconsin last weekend. My buddy has a home close to spot #5 on the HotSpots maps!
    Caught a few bass but was really impressed with the sauger I caught. No magic. Just a 3/16 oz jig and a a yellow twister tail. Above average size also. they were running 17 to 19 inches.

    Steve O, Sounds like you had some fun catching saugers.
    We have lots and lots of those nice saugers in Lake Wisconsin.
    Sometimes there pretty easy to catch and other days it takes a little more work.

    It was fun catching some fish on a plain jig and twister tail. I know it’s not easy all the time. I have 10 outings that aren’t easy to every one like that.
