Not much new to report. The eyes and sauger are still tearing up the cranks with yours truly netting 11 fish from 6:30-8:00 yesterday evening. All sauger with 3 legals including a nice 17 3/4 incher I kept for the pan. Released the others for another day.
A couple other anglers doing the same netted all eyes running husky jerks. All a tad short but those 16-17 inch eyes are sure some meaty fish here.
Probably get out this evening in search of that mounter. It is my day off but I have things I need to get done I can’t get done any other day so.
I did donate a couple more shad raps to river last night tho. 2 of my favorites too.
