    What do you guys think of this? Second, what would you do choose based on the following? I’m seeing 6, 8, or 10 as plausible option.

    Minnkota DC charger install
    25ft of cable needed for the run
    10-15amps max load in current setup

    Additional: Have a 50ft section of 10ga on hand, DC charger is capable of 20amp max but motor is not. I have the option to repower later from a 115 to a 150 down the road which would allow the max amperage. How likely, not soon anyway.

    Yes it is always a good idea to check that. One other thing to keep in mind with DC power is that it runs on the outside of the wire strand not through the whole thing. So the higher the strand count of a wire has the better it will be able to transfer power. Car audio amp wire works great for this. Also don’t forget to buy fuses and holders.
