BC – If you have never tried on a pair of 1600’s, I would recommend it prior to purchase. They are a lot heavier and bulky than I assumed they would be. Limited use to ice fishing only. Really can’t drive a truck (or ATV) with them on.

But at their price, that is a great deal !

I drive a truck with size 13s all the time, just make sure nothing is really close in front or behind you for when you accidentally push both pedals lol

Thanks for the warning. I wear size 13 artic pros. I assume they have to be close. I’m used to wearing bigger heavy boots. I need the 1600s because prior frost bite on toes leaves my feet going numb often

Rogers is a great place to get product. You will love the Alpha Burlys. I’ve had them for the last 20 years with Muck mixed in . The burlys are my go too for fishing and bow hunting. I do not have any issue for weight have a set for Turkey hunting. Between all the walking i do for ice fishing and Turkey hunting they are not heavy at all.

I am NOT much of a Cabelas buyer anymore, but that said the Cabelas branded insulated rubber boots have worked very well for us. Both deer hunting and … apparently now the new norm … ice fishing (slush).

I have the 1200s. My youngest son and main hunt / fish companion hates tie boots. He has Muck Boots, the 1200s and the 2000s insulated Cabela boots.

SNOWGEAR slip overs extra insulation with steel studs for the ice. Easy on and off. Great for Muck boots or insulated work or hunting boots. Light weight and snug when fastend. Never go back to pack boots. So versatile, even great for work, tough as nails. Freind of mine works for the railroad turned me on to these.

I just got my Alpha Burleys…..they seem really tight in the ankle area and hard to get off…..do others have this issue, in the foot area there is nice room, but I am going to try 1 size larger.

I would say a little snug but nothing that bothered me.

Lacrosse alpha-burleys are designed with the narrow ankle so they do not pull off when you are in mud and muck.

Some other brands have a similar narrow ankle design and others do not.

I love my norfins. Light warm and can remove the liner to dry out. cleats are nice for ice. they have a camp hunting boot the same at ice version without the cleats.

Size 12 just isn’t going to work, it works with my normal cotton socks but if I put on anything heavier it is just too tight, I need a 13. And of course everywhere is sold out of size 13….guess I am waiting until next year, and now I need to pay for return shipping……or drive to Glen’s. Lot’s of good input here, I’ll keep my eyes out for when they restock next year.

I used to like muck but don’t feel they are as good as they used to be. Tried out dryshod hunting boots this fall and wish I would of known about them yrs ago. Very impressed so far

Just received my alphaburlys, got them on sale for 109, immediate thought was the ankles flex way to much and will be the weak point. They feel like they will be plenty warm and I like the camo. The mucks feel much nicer, but my kids new bogs feel superior.
    Time will tell

Received the exact ones today as well. Feels about the same as my last pair. Put well over 300 miles on them and they aren’t built for that. But for $100 why not get a beater pair. Thanks for the heads up on Rogers sale

Figured for 100 bucks they were well worth getting 2 pairs and hope for a hard winter or 2 on them.
I will report back after some time. I am pretty hard on all my foot wear

Yes, I bought white on accident. But I’m wearing them daily at work and have dry socks

Rogers showed they were out of size 13 but Google pay showed that they had them…..so I ordered them through Google Pay from Rogers and 2 days later, today I have them. I was hoping to try them out this weekend on Mille Lacs but looks like they have too much snow for me to get around on the wheeler. For $100 worth a try, I really like my Mucks for early season hunting.
