Winona MN ice fishing

    So I’m new to the Winona area and have been out to the back waters a bit around prairie island road. I’ve been back to Minnesota city boat club and had little luck with a couple decent crappies back in the harbor. Looking to get out and slam some nice crappies or gills. Looking for any advice as to spots to try or jigs to use. Tight lines! I have Navionics which helps

    Nice crappies and gill abound in that area. All it takes is some work. Generally you’ve been fishing in great areas that hold these fish so all you have left to do is fine tune things.
