25-28′ right at edge of breaks. Find fish, then spot lock on top, vertical hold 6″ from bottom, jig and shiner, shiner smoked em. Fatheads worked ok, caught plenty on casting out a livebait rig w pinch of crawler dragging back as well.

Slots and overs came from 20-25′.

That’s deeper than I would have expected. 2 of us headed up next Wednesday. Will have plenty of spottails.

I’d focus in 6-12’. No need to fish that deep yet… or ever out there.

Dang that’s deep. Seems really deep for this time of the year. But a good bite is a good bite.

Hate deep myself but couldn’t get anything going shallow.

It is what it is. Relatively new to Winnie myself.

Boy bay on leech gave up some crappies before I came back home. Pick apart the cabbage patches like an annoying big brother 30 years ago.

Made it out last Wednesday on Winnie for a couple midday hours. Caught a 10″ perch and 13″ walleye on the first break on the south/sw side.

Was up on winnie for the week, just got home today. Fishing was very tough for myself most of the week. Got a few on lindy rig and leech, few on bobber and leech. Did ok pulling spinners and crawlers. Did the best with jiggin raps on 23-26’ humps. Marking major clouds of bugs almost everywhere. Fishing did get slightly better later in the week.
