Had the pleasure of fishing with Randy Weiland this morning. We went off out of Oshkosh and walked in a big 4 mile loop drilling a 100 holes as went. Marked some here and there but they weren’t really interested today. Can’t say it wasn’t for a lack of effort.
Many of the clubs have tree lines out and there was some truck traffic. We found a few spots with only 10″-12″ of ice, mostly near some big shoves. There are some treacherous pack ice areas and other really rough areas so don’t go bombing around the lake or you’ll take an axle off. No snow so travel should be OK, otherwise.
Nice fishing with you, Randy. We’ll have to do it again sometime.
