I believe a few of you recently purchased one of these. I am considering purchasing a Boreas Jacket and bibs. What do you like or dislike? Thanks.

I bought the kid one and it works and looks great on him. It was cheap enough to try so I did and I was pleased. I bought the bibs but only wore them a handful of times. I loved they were way less bulky then my striker climate suit, but I then bought a apex suit and put the windrider bibs in the closet for plowing and chores in the winter.

Super nice. You’ll like them. I’m 5’10” or so, 180 lbs and the large fits me nicely.

I’m also not sure what model my bibs and jacket are. I’ll have to check

I have had them for 3 ice seasons and still haven’t had a need for the coat, bibs are great, coat is going to be used this winter due to extremely cold weather…hopefully!!

I keep waiting for ice, but the forecast sure isn’t cooperating!

Thanks for the positive feedback! Lab – You have the Boreas suit, our more dedicated ice fishing suit.

You can come try one on at the St Paul Ice show if you would like. Otherwise, we do offer free returns/exchanges. Shoot me a PM and I will get you a discount code.

    Thanks

Mine is excellent. One of my better investments in 50+ yrs on the ice.
