Playing with some ideas to mount 2 Hbirds on my dash.

I would make the adapter(silver part) out of 3/16″ stainless and would be mounted to a Balzout mount with 6″ arm.

    what do you guys think?

It might. My curiosity would be around stress with 2 units of that size on one mount. Specifically where the balzout mounts to the dash. That could be a lot of torque in waves.

If you are making the arms just make a 2 bases larger then the blazout base to put on the top and bottom, this will distribute the load better to the dash.

Putting two units on one arm will not give you a lot of adjustability. Your son and you could do an art and craft project and make a mockup one with cardboard so you can see if you like the way it sits. It seems like that is bunch of weight for one arm. If you are going to mount them in like that why not remove the arm and make one fixed mount?

Balzout makes a mount that will accomplish this. Give them a call or email.

I had a conversation with BO and they do have a double arm mount but is quite a bit of $$$$.

I had a conversation with BO and they do have a double arm mount but it’s $400 and i’m not sure I like how it’s works.

I’m not making the arm and I would reinforce the base
