Will the Ice 35 shuttle work for helix 5

    Just curious if the ice 35 shuttle will be mountable for a helix 5 the shuttle measures exactly the length of the head unit itself… Has anyone tried this?

    I went to my Scheels and measured the gap. This was for a Helix 7 and it fit perfect on a Vex pro pack. Guessing you may need some kind of spacers?

    tried it on a Helix 7. Not so much, the 35 is too wide.

    My ghetto solution to get though this season. Kept the 7 in the gimble mount and fastened it using electrical tape. Oh it’s not pretty and embarrassed to admit but it actually help up really well. Didn’t think I should put a pic on the long homemade helix shuttle thread.

    I had mine on a vex blue Genz box before. Added two rubber spacers so it would tension correctly otherwise it was floppy. I needed to repurpose that genz box, hence my love of tape.
