I am now starting to feel less worried about our Canada Trip from June 3-12. The Pas area in Manitoba is having warmer weather right now than we are. They also have a Ton of Rain in the forecast ( Like 11 out of the next 14 days ) 70’s and Rain on Sat. will really get that ice melt started.

Guys I’m terrible at taking pictures with my phone but I just wanted to share what a wonderful night this has been. Took the canoe out and caught some sunnies with my boy. Now I’m listening to the twins get stomped in the garage enjoying the sunset with a cold one. It was a long winter but spring/summer is here and it feels so good.

I’ll be jumping off of the boat to cool down. But directly into ice water.

I’ve been wondering if our joy this year is more than just from having a long winter. Maybe we are appreciating it more after the pandemic. I know I am trying to live my life more fully since. So many guys at work have retired early or switched careers. Getting vacation homes or RVs and hitting the road.

Feeling the sun and all of the anticipation of all of the fun ahead of us definitely has me smiling.

The secret to happiness is to be content, no matter your situation.
My life isn’t going to make me happy. My happiness is going to make my life.

Hot, cold, who gives A…. if you want to be upset you’ll be. You CAN choose content… gear up, and go fishing.

Weather can be just a different set of clothing. Depends on you.

Really? I pray for rainy days in the summer. Keeps riff raff off the lake and the bite is often much better.

i’m retired…..i can fish anytime i want!!!! and most the lakes i fish….i’d be lucky to see 2-3 boats on!!!!!! just the way i like it!!
