I’m thinking about getting some Camoplast Tatou trax for my Yamaha Grizzly 700. For those that have this setup (or something similar) what’s the overall width of the setup? I’m trying to figure out if my single place trailer is wide enough?

Dirtwheels magazine has said the Grizzly 700 is the best machine they have run tracks on. It’s light weight, solid CVT, great low range, diff lock, etc, make the grizzly and tracks a good combination.

I can tell you first hand that it’ll go through dam near anything!
No need to put the bigger sized tracks on either. The smaller size works just fine.

I have this set-up exactly. I can’t remember the offsets right now but they’re on the Camoplast website. I will measure total footprint tonight if I remember.

Thanks, I got an email reply from a trax dealer, they said trax adds about 6″ over stock width…

I ran camoplast tracks on my 660 grizzly last year and it has plenty of power to run them. It will go thru alot, but it is not a snowmobile. If there is no base you can bury it to china. The biggest issue I had was the snow buildup around the rear brake and the pedal. I froze mine up so bad on a trip up north that I couldn’t shift it into reverse or park.

I have the Tatou 4S on my 700 Grizzly. Haven’t had enough snow to put them on the past 2 years though. If I recall, I think the overall width was 53″. Never put it in the back of the pickup, but was thinking I would need to build a “platform” to have it above the wheel wells as I didn’t want to damage the treads.
