$50 unless it’s your first time buying a WI license then it’s $26.

Needless to say after 4 trips to WI lakes and one 3 lb smallmouth to show for it, I’m ready for MN to open up the season. Super frustrating early season across the river for me.

    How’s everyone else been doing?

I have not yet fished a wi lake but have done well on smallies while pitching jigs on the river. Wasn’t my target but they have been active.

I assume you’re talking about the St Croix? I was thinking about going there last weekend but went after crappies instead. I’m hoping to get out on the St Croix more this year but I won’t be fishing until opener. Wife’s weekend to work this weekend so it’ll be opener on Prior. Looking forward to that.

Yeah and white bass maybe after seeing frydogs pics from this spring. Prior is a great all around lake with good size in just about every species.

Shoot, I had an open seat yesterday… tried to go out and break my buddies PB 4.01 but fell just short. Two best were 3.79 and 3.90. They are still out surprisingly deep, suspended in 17 fow. Man, do they pull – don’t tell them it’s 54 degree water..

Mother’s Day fish fry tonight –

Man, you are dialed Frydog! That’s awesome. I’ll be keeping my eye out for any big schools suspended on Saturday.
