I just run the Lindy brand Crawler harnesses. Easy storage in the packs pull out what you need. Yes you can make your own, but I am all about being efficient.
#4 Red hook x2 $1.40
#5 Colorado blade/clevis $1.35
10ft 12lb fluorocarbon .25cents
Catching the fish of a lifetime on a rig you put together, Priceless.
The Lindy brand uses soft junk hooks, snag a rock and the hook point is bent over.
I used to get them free. I would cut the line, save the blade and beads and retie my own.
You need to make them yourself so you can evaluate the water temperature, clarity, sun, etc and then ignore all that and make whatever combo looks neat

Or be like me and make dozens of them only to use Northland ones
Wow, I always just tie my own. Snell knot pretty easy to tie. Get some good fluorocarbon leader material, beads, hooks, and clevis, and your favorite blade.
Bada Bing Bada Boom. Takes less time to tie than ordering them online. I get the swim noodles to use as holders. But, to each his own.
