I’m holding out for the Pro X model (X for extreme).

Whoever buy’s one of these is a complete idiot. In a year I’m sure you’ll see these units priced around 2K…. Just another reason not to buy a lowrance product.

To each his own! If I had the cash just laying around I find a place for it. Everybody has their thing! Did you know that people spend lots of money chasing little white balls around in a field, Guys will spend 20,000 on a motorcycle and ride it 10 times a year. Or 60,000 on a truck and are afraid to haul things. Ice Castles for one month of use. What about the wasted $ for gym memberships and shoes!

Good investment riverrun. I wish I had that krell, I would take it over that big screen anyday and use my 73sv.
Krell is a manufacture of audiophile I have the wants over fishy wants.

I just priced trolling motors, wow I didn’t know they were rivaling big screen prices!

The same guys that are buying $80k rigs. I will definitely support this because it pushes the “old” & “outdated” gear into a reasonable price. I just wish my used Lund caught as many fish as the new ones do.

I’d say spending 5k on electronics will contribute more to fishing success than spending an extra 5k on the boat. Ie: 40k + 5k electronics will set you up for success more than 45k + cheapo electronics. Obviously that’s not always the situation you are in.

At least as long you put in the time to learn how to use them and interpret them effectively.

I fish with a dude who’s pretty good with his electronics, amazing how much it helps.

Of course, nothing contributes more to fishing success than how many thousands of dollars worth of crankbaits you own, that we can all agree on.

I posted previously that I’m anxiously awaiting the integrated partnership of Lowrance/MotorGuide/Hoover/Ginsu/Yeti … the Lowrance 60″ screen will I.D. only eater-sized fish, while the new Spot-on-the Spot MotorGuide will hover over the school, while you direct the Hoover joy stick to the fish in the slot and vacuum your limit of three (less on Mille Lacs) to the livewell, where the Ginsu fillets and seals directly into the Yeti Behemoth cooler that keeps them frozen up to 12 months or whenever the next Lent cycle begins…

Oh, is that why you use MY crankbaits to catch flatheads?

Well that statement goes without saying!
