Finally on some decent ice/snowcover this past weekend, allowing travel on the lake by snowmobile. We targeted walleyes early and late, with modest success, then spent a couple hours at mid-day tageting whitefish with small spoons/waxies over 27′-30′. We caught a few with this one being the largest.
I love whitefish. They are beautiful fish, game to chase/eat lures, great tablefare, and the sure can put up a fight! All were released btw.
