Anyone know if the campground on whiteface (near Markham) has shower facilities? Quick search online couldnt amswer it, figured id check here for anyome in the know before figuring out which park service i need to contact.

It is a fairly primitive campground. No showers. Best bets for campground with showers is in Hoyt lakes or Biwabik.
Nice campground, no showers. Park close to the site though and can have boat in water is convenient.. Fishing has been so, so..
Hoping I can find a school of eyes like I did when my wife and I were there in 2015. Once I found them you could pretty much count as soon as your jig reached bottom you’d get hit. Weren’t big but we will have our five year old with so action is the goal. Kind of made that first tour of the area to scope out a place like the campground and whuteface was where we did best on the fish so its been a trip in the making with hopes to make it more regular thing, or at least camping at a lake regular thing if not always up there.
If weather is garbage we have family near two harbors to stay as a backup plan, it’s his first tent camping experience aside from one night camping in the in laws valley so don’t want to spook him off with a bad experience.
Oh, and anyone else who might be interested the manager of the campground has a Facebook messenger account for the park and has been very responsive and helpful.
