I am thinking of purchasing an underwater camera for both open water and ice fishing. Which one would you recommend and why? I am concerned about low light scenarios. I fish Oahe frequently wan would like to be able to see in 50,60, or even 70 fow from the boat. Is this even possible?
It all depends on the Seechi disk readings. Are you talking about seeing an object 50 feet to the side of your boat or do you mean at a depth of 50 ft? In fresh water its nearly dark 50 ft down the camera would need infra red or lights and you would be luck to see a fish 10 ft away from camera in gin clear water. in murky water like lake of the woods you can see a foot on a great day 0 on bad days. the river is usually turbid in summer a camera are pretty much worthless. IMHO
