    Hello –

Planning on taking my kids to Mille Lacs this coming weekend. Looking to Target walleyes mainly but some bonus perch would be nice also. I was thinking Appledorn’s or Agate Bay? Thoughts or any other suggestions? Of course I want to avoid and resort that would be having a contest. Thanks. Chad

As far as getting walleyes & perch, Agate bay would be a good choice. The east side will be very busy with Hunter Point hosting Perch Extravaganza. Appeldoorn’s isn’t nearly as busy as other big name resorts but this year the roads were limited due to the late start & its just not very “perchy”. Agate Bay has been producing some perch out in the “sand flats” & there are Walleyes everywhere.

Busy is an understatement! Are you looking for a place to stay? Ice house? or Just access?

I have a wheelhouse – just looking for access.

South east side, I’d call Lybacks and get on his list if it’s not filled up yet. Otherwise I’d suggest Appledorns. You likely wont find any perch regardless where you go. Hunters and agate bay will be insane busy this weekend.

Car racing out in front of the Izatys/Beachside access this Sat.

    I’d call Eddy Lyback ASAP
