Which Outboard for Voyageur?

    Planning on Buying a new Voyageur 175cs Limited Edition and was looking for opinions on which Yamaha 4 stroke to put on it. Will the 90 horsepower be enough for three fishermen?, or should I upgrade to the 115 horsepower for a little under $900.00?

    If you can afford the extra money then with out a doubt put the 115 on it. Is that the max HP for the Voyageur? I have the 115 on a 175 Dominator and if loaded with 3 guys and gear it takes a bit to get on plane.

    Put the 115 on it. You will be very pleased with the motor.

    That is the way I was leaning. So many things to consider when making that big of an investment

    No doubt about that… My opinion is you may not always need to power but its nice to have when you do need it!
