Which Hook Style Do You Prefer?

I plan on starting to fish with a variety of plastic lures this year and wonder what hook style you guys like to use? I primary will be Texas rigging crawlers, trick worms or Gulp minnows. I tried drop shot fishing for the first time last year and I am wanting to expand my arsenal to get more bass than in years past. It looks like offset round bend hooks or EWG’S are my two main choices.
Any tips or advice you experts have would be greatly appreciated. I grew up in KY fishing exclusively with crank baits and am looking to change things up a little this year.

My favorite hooks to use on most plactics are straight shanks. I’ll use light wire or heavy cover models depending on the application. Some baits like tubes and swimbaits require an EWG hook, but if I can get away with a straight shank I think my hooking percentage goes way up. A 3/0 fits brushhawgs and beavers perfectly.

When I Texas rig and the sinker slides up the line sometimes the bait doesn’t run true or gets hung up. I got tired of pegging and re-pegging the sinker to stay in place. Started experimenting with an integrated pegged hook from A&M Baits… All one piece, less hassle, same hook up percentage. May be worth a try …
