Which 2 g loomis rods would you reccomend. For bottom bouncing heavier weights say 3-4 oz and then for 3 ways say up to 3/8 oz jigs

Walleye series WBBR 853C in regular or GLX for Bottom Bouncing. I have one, it works perfectly. I haven’t tried it with three ways but have used it with 2 to 3-ounce weights.

Thank you for the suggestion spalj I will be purchasing a 853. Do you pull three ways at all? If so what rod do you use?

Why would you spend that much money on a rod for pulling bb’s and 3 ways? There isn’t alot of “finesse” pulling 2-3 oz of lead around. Not trying to be a smart ass, just wondering why. I can see spending that kind of cash on a rod for dragging meat or jigging.

I see loomis has some mod-fast rods in the new E6 lineup that aren’t too expensive, one of those could certainly work for trolling 3-4oz bouncers. I use compre trolling rods for most of my heavier bouncing. I sometimes use an older hsr9000 for lighter live bait 3 way setups.

X2 on what Pounder has said. I would look at the okuma deadeye BB rod, they are 8’6″ telescopic and are an unbelievable rod. You should be able to find them for under $100 down there.

I think i have it narrowed down to 3 rods for heavier stuff 3+ ounces. St croix bounce n troll, g loomis e6x 853c wbbr, or get loomis 853c wbbr glx.

For live bait 3 ways what would you reccomend for say like dubuque rigs 3/8 oz and less?
