I have always had a tiller electric motor but not a bow mount. I am thinking about getting one now mostly for the “spot lock”. Trying to do some research, but there are so many choices. Can someone help narrow down the options? I have a Warrior 1890 BT with a 24 volt system for the tiller electric and a 2 bank onboard charger. I use the electric very little and my main reason for getting the bow mount is the anchor feature. I don’t want it to hook up and run off the graph. I will use the bow mount occasionally for pulling spinners or even lead core, maybe a little for pitching on rock piles and some for power corking. I almost exclusively fish Mille Lacs and 80% of the time fishing for walleyes. Any help would be greatly appreciated.

Xi5 Motorguide, there’s a recent thread on motorguide vs minnkota and the anchor feature. They talk about how it’s much more accurate than the terrova. I’ve also heard this, but I also read the auto pilot feature is not as good on the Xi5…
