All Garmin chips should tell you what units they are compatible with if you look online. Depending on where you spend your time fishing, the “Upper Midwest” SD chip covers quite a bit of water bodies without being too highly priced.

If you go to the Garmin website they have a very handy tool that shows you all available / compatible maps for each handheld. So for your Oregon 600T you’d find it on their website at >>> Oregon 600T

Once you’ve found your handheld on the Garmin site next you’ll want to click on “MAPS” to the right of “OVERVIEW” by a couple inches in the navigation bar. See attached.

Clicking on “MAPS” takes you to a handy tool that will show you all compatible mapping products sorted by geographical region (continent) and types of maps desired (fishing, hunting, topo, etc).

For demonstration I selected “North America” and “On the Water” as search criteria and the list of available mapping products was displayed below. My screen capture didn’t show them all… lots of options. See attached image.

I hope this helps. I was just using it myself last night as I was contemplating a handheld for my snowmobile and thought it was a very good system that weeded out all the confusion about what does or doesn’t work with a specific unit. waytogo
