Looking for recommendations or insight on where to target walleyes in 90 degree days? Or is it mainly a night bite and early morning? This morning the water temp on the helix was 64 at 430 this morning and we worked the shallows and deep breaks9 to 17feet of water and wind swept points but couldn’t find where the fish wanted to be. we trolled spinners with fat heads and leeches along with crankbaits.. we where in the Hutchinson area.. any info would be appreciated still learning the ins and outs of walleye yet..

Caught 8 walleyes today on Minnetonka in 4’between 8 and 11 am, only reason we left was we ran out of minnows and the sun was hot.

they are still shallow. I fish the river a lot and got every single eye in 10 feet or less if that helps. i am guessing the river is over 70 as of now. every body of water is unique but I would sneak up shallow the further north you are.
