Anyone have any great ideas on where to sell a bow other than C-list or E-Bay? What would be a fair price to ask? $200-$250??

My youngest son wanted to start bow hunting so we bought him a bow 2 years ago and to this day it has yet to see an arrow fly…

Bear apprentice 2 Compound Realtree bow package – LEFT HAND
Trophy Ridge 3-pin sight (I believe it is the Sharpshooter model)
    Bear 4-arrow quiver
    Quickshot Whisker Biscuit rest
    Draw Length: 15″ – 27″
    Draw Weight: 20# – 60#
    Axel to Axel: 27.5″
    Brace Height: 6″
    Let off: 70%
    Bow Speed: IBO fps = 260 – 265

New these go for about $280 and I see they now have the Bear Apprentice 3 out that is selling for $300

    Thanks,
    Dave

Good Luck, really. I took my sons bow to a flea market, no decent offers. Tried 2 bow shops, they wont sell used bows….liability! Tried CL with a fair price $100 for a $300 bow with accessories…received NO calls.
Finally took it to an auction house where it sold for $35, and I got 75% of that!
Like I said, Good Luck. It seems with WI crossbows, bows are selling dirt cheap at this time.

    IDO classifieds, of course.

I’ve had the most success selling hunting-related stuff on other specialized hunting websites. The more specialized, the better for most items it seems. By that I mean an archery hunting forum is good, a youth archery hunting forum is even better.

I had a set of reloading dies for an oddball wildcat caliber that I no longer owned. I had tried CL and eBay for a while, no luck. Then I posted it on a specialized handgun hunting forum and had them sold by that night.
