Where to mount HDS in Navigator 175

    I just got this boat a couple of weeks ago and the previous owner pulled all the electronics (and rod holders, etc)
    I temp placed my HDS on the dash, but there is hardly any room. I am getting a new HDS on Friday and I was wondering where I should mount it. The old one is going up front. I did buy a ram mount for the new one.

    Any ideas?

    I mounted mine on a long arm Ram mount on the flat part of the dash behind the switch panel.

    I am mounting my HB-899-SI on a ram mount on the dash because of the same problem you are having. It will also allow me to rotate the screen so I can view it from anywhere in the boat.

    Check out the ram swing arm.
    after using up my console space i found the gunnel to be a great spot.
    I can also rotate the 1199 – 180 degrees and view up front also!
