I’m headed down to Pool 4 this weekend and wondering where to fish? Are they in the transition? Should I be up by the dam, fishing wing dams or down in Pepin?

    Chris,

Welcome to IDO. wave Might not get much info as there are tourneys the next few weekends. Best advise would be to get out ahead of the tourney starts and keep moving until you find ’em.

    Good luck,

Walleyes can be found from the head of the lake to all the up to the dam.

Finding numbers and quality fish can be tough though,Pick a starting spot and keep moving until you find what you looking for !

Remember most of the “fancy” boats out this weekend will be the LPO tourney guys, treat them with respect and they will respect you !

    Good Luck !

The bite is tough. Spent a couple hours tonight with a few small sauger and eyes to show, Lots of drum. I’ll be down there all weekend. As Trumar said, watch out for LPO guys.
