Where to find water temp and flow data?

I know this comes up like four times a year, but my old website at the Army Corps of Engineers has been “under maintenance” for awhile. I am guessing it will never come out of the “under maintenance” stage and I need to move on.

I have tried RiverGages.com and the National Weather Service website. I can find flow but no current temperature readings. Can somebody please post the link they use for weather data on the Mississippi at Red Wing, Lake City, etc.? Sorry to ask but I guess I am not smart enough to figure this out on my own.

    Thanks a bunch.

    On the NWS site….http://www.weather.gov/arx/
    1- Rivers and Lakes tab
2- At the bottom of the page there is “Text Products”
    3- “River and Lake Summary”

A little complicated but it works….As of this morning it has Lake City at 60

The COE site is going to come back. I emailed them to ask about it the end of September and it should be back on line any day now.

Hoping the army core of engineers gets there site going again. River Gage’s isn’t close to as nice. Can’t even see the flow!!
