    Down stream of course!

Although we were inches away from having our locks flooded and closed down (2 and 3), we didn’t have it as bad as down stream.

Locks 16 – 22, were still closed as of this morning.

Here’s a few shots of some of the locks down stream.

Can you pick out the lock chamber?

I saw at least 10 jigs and 5 flickers on some of those logs that were mine, any way to get those back? grin

Since the folks working at the locks aren’t locking people through and sandbagging is useless at this point, might want to send them an email.

Better be specific in your descriptions though.

I thought the answer was “Herb’s basement.”

At least the current storm is less widespread than some of the previous ones. Not that it isn’t raining buckets out there now though! I’m in the NW metro and the roads are flooded over and wipers could barely keep up on the drive in. Thankfully the area being hit that hard is fairly small so hopefully this latest dumping doesn’t do much to the water levels in the rivers.

The ground has been so saturated at Everts (by flooding) there’s actually water coming out of the ground near my camper and all of the lower blocks on the whole length of the retaining wall are wet with some of them trickling water.

Herb, the crops and I don’t need anymore rain.
