My uncle Mark had a black lab called Babe that would growl at him when he missed. Or in a blind, she would growl at Mark if anyone missed.

The whole thing was very entertaining. Here they come, take ’em, boom, boom. Wow. That wasn’t exactly great shooting… Grrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrr. Shut up, Babe, we don’t want to hear it from you. Dogs don’t get to comment on the shooting.

    Grrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrr.

my friend smitty had a male GSP named rascal,if you missed a shot on a rooster, that bugger would come over and pee on your shoe,he was never taught to do that, just something he came up with on his own.

That’s funny! Had a setter that would give you maybe 2 misses and then he would just go on a walk about.

Ruger will bark when you miss and whine/whimper if we go 20 minutes without seeing any

Two dogs ago I hunted with the same partner all the time. If I missed a shot my lab would go to him and sit with him.l couldn’t get her to come back to my blind for at least a half hour.
