When to fish a Perch pattern for Walleyes

    When do Walleyes typically target Perch as a food source & when do you fish a Perch pattern jig ?

    I think the best answer for this may be all year round depending on system or lake, but if my memory serves me right slip bobber master Greg bohn says late summer when yoy are schooled near weeds and of delicious size.

    On any lake that has a good perch population, it’s my go to.
