Anyone know when the DNR will let us know the results of the draw for the first two seasons? Didn’t see anything on the website.

It’s up as of this morning. http://www.dnr.state.mn.us/licenses/lotteries/turkey_spring.html
Winner, winner chicken dinner. I was drawn for Season B!
Time to start walking around the house clucking, purring, strutting, cutting, and generally driving Mrs. Grouse crazy with practice calls.
Thanks for posting this, Ihprop1.

No problem. I got drawn for season B as well.
Here, turkey turkey turkey turkey!
Lost this time will try for one of the extra Season B tags. My blinds are on there way back from primos all repairs done. Can’t wait till April 2 will be my first hunt of the spring.
I’m pretty fired up about it this year. I HOPE, hope, hope we have better weather than in years past. Last time I drew an early season tag, we had solid, day long rain for days on end. Hunting sucked, and you couldn’t access a lot of areas because the trails and roads were so wet.
Here’s hoping for some beautiful weather!

If I remember right my bar tab was unusually high that season. I got tired of sitting in the rain pretty quick.

Totally agree. I ended up quitting a day early, I had planned to hunt 3 days, Th-Sat, but the forecast went like this: 100% chance of rain, heavy at times. That was the forecast for all 3 days.
If there is anything as miserable as sitting in the predawn darkness in a heavy downpour, I’m not sure what it is. The sound of the rain deadens all other sounds, so even if the gobblers are at it, it’s so difficult to hear.
The year before that, forum member Tegg had a tag the same week and was greeted by 18 inches of snow. Accessing any place more than 200 yards from the road was a lung buster and that time of year the snow crusts over quickly and then you make enough noise walking that you might as well have a 12 piece brass band following you.
Pray for good weather, my friends.

I like the snowy years don’t let the weather hold you back. Been out on the days when the snow was so loud but if you put the work in it was rewarding.
Taken many birds in blizzards and thunderstorms don’t let the weather keep you back. With blinds now you can get out in some of the bad weather.
This was from NE one year we hunted day before in 60 degrees next morning 10 inches of snow.
Rain does suck spent a lot of days drying clothes at the laundromats. Even after snow drying clothes but would not miss being out. Now heat I have a lot harder time dealing with them 80 plus days really suck but have to do it. Those are the days that almost get me to take off early when that temp rises.
If we get snow, I’ve always got my snow camo. Sitting in the cold doesn’t bother me one bit. Sitting in the rain . . . that’s another story.
Just got back my blinds today all fixed ready to go for NE. Just shipped them last Tuesday and already received them back pretty fast for this time of year.
Just had rotator cuff surgery Wednesday. I asked the doc when I could draw my bow again. She freaked on me and said maybe fall at the earliest guess I won’t be bow hunting turks, have to buy an over the counter gun tag

That’s a bummer, Sticker. I mean, of course the RC had to get done and I suppose there’s never really a good time.
If it’d make you feel better, I can come along and shoot Mr Gobbler for you. I’m here to help.

Always looking out for me Grouse, I appreciate that.
I suppose I could get some 3″ 4 shot for the Taurus Judge and shoot one with that left handed
