Heavyhauler, just pull the trigger! Try it out for a year and if you don’t like it, sell it in a year, even if it’s for a grand less than you payed you can look at it like you rented it.
As far as the biffy we just put a scented bag in the bucket along with some light weight kitty litter and the gals are fine. After a few uses just tie the bag and toss it outside. #2 the bag obviously goes outside immediately. They’re frozen by the time you leave and I toss em all in in a large bag (leaf bag) and into the bed of the truck then to the dump.
To be honest I wouldn’t want one that I have to pump out the waste.
We run water through the coffee pot to get it hot and then put it in a air pot. It stays hot for well over 24 hours. Great for washing your hands!
We went to LOW 5 times and 4 of those we stayed for 5 days.
As far as the comment on how many houses were on LOW this winter the conditions on Red lake played a big role in that.
I pull my 21′ with a 1/2 ton and have had no problems.
