I’ve always heard the digger ice auger mount is best for a wheeler. Wondering if it is worth upgrading to the Digger Anchor All Season Multi-Purpose mount?

Digger Anchor All Season Multi-Purpose mount – https://www.amazon.com/gp/product/B01LOOJOO8/ref=ox_sc_act_title_2?smid=AAY5TQ17LUXZ0&psc=1 for $130

I plan to use the wheeler in the summer around the house and trails in the woods – so was thinking the upgrade may be worth it?

This is my favorite. It carries anything that fits in it. And keeps my racks open and removes easy without tools.

Looks interesting, I use my digger mount to lock down yard tools during the summer months (Tree trimmer pole, shovels, rakes, etc), but these straps look better. Can they be added to an existing Digger Mount?

Just buy the quick fist clamps separately and add them where you want them.

I have the digger and like it.
Didn’t know they had the Multi-purpose, but wish I had it.

I talked to Digger Co. and to just add the straps to an existing Digger mount is $49

Joe you don’t have to buy them from Digger – I gave you the brand. They are Quick Fist Clamps and you can buy them straight from the company or a number of other places. They have a bunch of different options so get whatever will work for your needs.

I added a smaller set to my digger to hold a spud bar or shovel. The set set was like $9 on Amazon. I have since taken it off to mount a rod holder instead.

Just a follow-up – did end up purchasing the all-season mount. Maybe I didn’t look close enough prior to buying but you actually get 2 sets of clamps for each side.

I’ve been out only a couple of times and haven’t found a use for the clamps yet for ice fishing, but think it’ll be beneficial to have them for year-round use.
