Question for wheel house,, for that matter any house. What do you wear for shoes inside the house, once you are setup? Do you wear your boots? Do you bring extra shoes/slippers/boots?
I have a few buddies with wheel houses that are strict on no boots past the entry rug.
The answer is Camo Crocs, duh.
leave your boots at the door keeps the floor dry, Crocs with fur or sunuks are my favorite and both work great.
have a rubber floor so doesn’t matter as we keep fans on but typically shoes or slippers
I have carpet on my floor so I wear heavy socks or slippers with rubber bottoms. The slippers are nice to also run outside quick if you forgot something.
Camo mocs with rubber sole. Then my slip on hikers are by the door for when I need to step outside.
x3 Furry Crocs all the way. I have too pair with the fur inside. I wear them all weekend. If you are moderately careful I wear them outside to check tip-ups and go from house to house as well. I’ve stood on the ice for hours wearing them and I wouldn’t have believed it but they are ultra warm.
Tell your wife it’s your shack and you will wear what you want!!

Rubber bottom sorel slippers
Carpet floor with boots off at the door. Fuzzy slip on crocs for me. I have a few extra pairs of rubber bottomed slippers for people that stop by.
