Wheel house air conditioning

    Hey everyone, I have an 8′ x 14′ wheelhouse that I would like to use for camping a couple times during the summer. Does anyone have some sort of ac unit that will run with a 2000w generator? Thanks!

    You could get a portable AC unit like this

    Or for a more permanent solution go with a roof mount RV air conditioner like this

    Both will run off a 2000w generator.

    How does it work in hot humid weather? I thought those portable don’t work very good in humid weather.like a swamper.

    Like a standard air conditioner. They dehumidify and cool.

    I use the smallest portable menards sold with a honda 2000. I drain it through a hole with a safety cover covered with cardboard (didnt want to drill a drain hole in a catch cover) and vent through a window. I tried venting through a floor hole which worked much worse.
