    I think when it gets this cold, the numbers don’t mean much anymore. It’s just really F-ing cold!

    A lot of reporting stations quit at -38,so there will be a lot of unofficial numbers given.Black River Falls and Sparta was NA after -38.

    -31″unofficial” in Trempealeau.

    Pug, isn’t it also to warn the fruit growers for frost?

    I don’t think they worry about frost and we have freeze warnings which would alert the groves.

    I think my thermometer gave up and went south. Truck said -32 when I crossed the black river bridge on highway 53 (trempealeau/LaCrosse county line).

    -43 below this morning near whipholt Mn 2.5 miles from my house by Leech Lake. Truck wont start and my cold water line is froze up. Let the hot water drip all night in the kitchen. Gotta love Mn …… Warming this weekend into the +????????30 * F
