Brad, if I remember correctly, the sausage is one big patty correct? Crust looks thick but melts in your mouth

We had the Lou Malnati’s sausage for dinner tonight. The sausage is a big patty on top, great fennel flavor that went well with the rest of the pie. I am sure it is better at the restaurant, will have to take the in-laws there for dinner when we finally resume travelling to Chicago.

My wife buys me a frozen 6 pack about every other year. It is good, not great. At the restaurant it is truly amazing. Worth the time when in Chicago.

R-Pizza Vermillion, SD. Back in the old days it was right by the bars, we’d order a pizza for delivery and get a ride home with the delivery guy.

Stone Lake Pub in Stone Lake WI and Santarpio’s if in the Boston area!

That’s what we keep hearing. Were in there last year for a beer but it wasn’t dinner time. We spoke to the owner about all their weird varieties of pizza. My wife keeps bugging me to eat there so we better make a point to try it this year.

It’s good stuff for sure! My cabin is 2.5 miles down the road, so we eat plenty. I haven’t tried any of the weird varieties; we typically just stick with a “supreme” style, but should try one of the whacko one’s at some point.

We started eating “Pizza Pub” pizza in Pine City in the mid 70’s and never needed to look further. We have tried different locations and the N Branch Pub left us down about 4 times before we moved on to the Center City Pub. A lot depends on who is making it and like most jobs if they have their game on or are just going through the motions.

This seems like a trap. Probably make us pay an old bar tab.

We decided to try it in place of the once in a great while frozen pizza night. Never again….

Was it the “Pothole” Pizza? I think that’s what they’re calling their take/bakes now. I liked their normal Kwik Trip Brand before Pothole and I’ve heard that it’s good from others, but sounds like not in this case. I’ll have to grab one and try it out this weekend, maybe. It will be a bummer if it’s not as good. KT usually knocks it out of the park for a gas station.

It was edible but the sauce tasted like Campbell’s tomato soup.

My cousin owns it. The franchise is from chicago )

I suggest the spinach pie. And for toppings on a pizza, add green bell peppers. They soak them in sugar and vinegar.

    I’ve settled for Steve’s before. If Drag’s is a 10, Steve’s would come in at about a 6 IMO.

What the Heck – now that’s a whole in the wall. My FW used to sing there back in the day. I’ve been by there but not stopped in. We’ll have to make it a point to do that next time we’re up that way. She agrees, their Pizza is pretty good.

If you are eatin at Steve’s and What the Heck, somewhere in the middle is Drag’s. Do yourself a favor sometime and try it out.

They are good. Spicy Pie is pretty good as well. One of our kids went to NDSU so we have tried about everything there.

Rhombus Guys? The T-Rex was one of my favorites when I was in Fargo.
