Ok am streaming 99.1 out of bemidji. They played a yardbirds song and stevie ray a few minutes ago so they are good by me!

What?!? Z99 is streaming now? What streaming service do you use?

I just googled 99.1 bemidji. Their web site came up. I clicked on the site and then clicked on listen live. No streaming service needed. I can listen to it as long as there is a wifi signal. Like driving to chicago listening to the power loon and my wife rolls her eyes and says “are we going to listen to that brainerd station for 6 hours”

Maybe it is not a wifi signal. Perhaps it is just if my phone has verizin coverage. Regardless, it is great to have perfect reception. Radio in the boat reception would fade in and out as the boat moved. Not any more.

Z99, 99.1 on the FM dial out of Burrmidji, they play all the classic jams, including ones that go for 10+ minutes, and it means I’m fishing, hunting or chilling at the cabin the next day! The cabin garage stereo plays Z99 24/7. Don’t get me wrong I love a good album (most of them mentioned here), but that’s only good for so long while Z99 keeps on rocking!

    Z99… nuff said. toast

Turnpike Troubador’s, Diamonds & Gasoline album would be just about perfect.

Riser by Dierks Bentley is a more recent throwback, but its excellent if you’re into country. Otherwise Logan Mize’s Come Back Road is phenomenal too.

Although if you asked my dad I know his choice would be The Cars in a heartbeat.

Have you heard the acoustic version of Blackened they recently did?

It was already one of my favorites of all time but the acoustic version is phenomenal.

This music is pretty easy to listen to. Tom T. Hall’s Greatest Hits was a great album….”Old Dogs and Children…..and Watermelon Wine”.

Haven’t done an album in a long time, but do have Pandora on a lot. In no particular order. Depends on mood.

I have an ice cold Castle Cream Ale in my mitts and am heading for the shade of the patio. No music, just birds.

When we were on patrol earlier this week about 4am the birds would just come alive. Never really noticed before, mainly bc I’m not a morning person, but it was pretty amazing. Almost deafening to a point. Starts around 330, and seemed to peak about 415 or so. Never would of thought.

    Harvest Moon- Neil Young

First concert I ever went to. Age 14. Got thrown out midway through for smoking something naughty. Hooked up with a few hobos and walked around downtown for a bit until they pulled a knife on us (mostly in a joking way but still they were creeps). Licked the hand of someone at the front gate and copied his sticker onto our hands, snuck back in just in time for cinnamon girl. Oh to be young again….

I like the 90’s country, and if I’m in the mood, 80’s rock n roll. I also agree with the Ronnie Milsap.

And then I’ll go way off the beaten path. Give me some Simon & Garfunkel along with Roger Whitaker and I’m feeling good! Odd and perhaps embarrassing…but there ya go. razz

90’s country, Travis Tritt, Alan Jackson and the list goes on. Some of the more recent country is ok, Eric Church, Luke Combs.

I’m also a huge fan of acoustic stuff, Aaron Lewis and Thrice come to mind. Too much good music to list so I’ll leave it at that

I’m surprised that there isn’t any John prine fans. We lost a good song writer and singer to Covid 19. Also like Chris Stapleton and Jamey johnson
