95 Chevy k2500 rusty and not trusty

Mine is a 97 chevy k3500 rusty but trusty. More holes than rust.
I can trust to get 286 miles on a tank of gas. Found that out while sputtering into the gas station. My gas gauge does not work and my eyes are failing and I thought the trip odometer said 230. I glued a rectangle magnifier over the trip odometer now.

Had a chance to buy a 99 ford f250 basic bob 2 wd very little rust 187000 miles just needed a starter and heating coar fix for $500. I chose to buy a new depfinder instead for $150 more.priorities are important.

I feel like I’m on the wrong forum….

    2013 BMW 550i w/30k miles
2012 BMW X5 w/44k miles (tows the boat)

My weekend car is a 1969 Pontiac Firebird that’s getting a pretty major makeover this winter.

No one should feel ashamed to post on this forum. If that’s what you can afford to drive, we shouldn’t judge.

Hell, it gets you on the water right?

Hang tough brother. One day you can have a true dual exhaust, ’97 Chevy, head turner from Texas too ;)

    P.S.
If that Pontiac gets to be too much of a project for you, shoot me a PM. I’ve got a soft spot for old Chiefs.

I’ve had the Pontiac for many years….it’ll never go away. It’s actually a fully restored car but I’m putting a new suspension underneath it with modern components so it’s a little more comfortable to cruise in.

It would also pull the boat but I think a hitch might look a little tacky on it……

I’m just saying “IF” and in jest if I’m being honest. A forth vehicle would be hard to get past the funwrecker of the house.

Anyhow, great car. Along with the Oldsmobiles of that era, a piece of history.

That’s just what eelpoutguy said when I posted on the GTG thread.
The Grain Belt is the “Friendly” beer. You know, if someone stops by at home or the fish camp or whatever, being friendly I always offer them a beer. They get the “Friendly” beer while I keep the good stuff for myself! lol

I just bought a 2013 ford expedition in August 80k miles. Love it tow package so no more checking the weight for camping trips when pulling the boat.
